FIRST WOMEN IN SPACE
Digitali Illustrations, 2022
Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova became the first woman to fly in space from June 16 to June 19, 1963. On March 6, 1937, Tereshkova was born in the Russian town of Masslenikovo, USSR.
Each of the figure is floating and flying in the space. I use only the red lipstick as the female feature. The star in Valentina’s hand in each poster represents that she is in the space and like herself, she is a star in the world. At the back is the silhouette of the rocket she was in.
